Melissa Winbourne, ASID

|
Melissa’s career in interior design began with an internship in residential design in 1994. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in 1997, she worked for architectural firms designing hotel interiors. Her direct work with architects resulted in a better understanding of the overall design process and how the two trades depend upon, and complement one another.
This experience coupled with the successful completion of the NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) allows Melissa to apply creative and technical solutions to interior environments and to ensure that the health, safety and welfare of the public is not compromised.
Melissa is also a Professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). This society is the frontrunner in acknowledging interior design credentials. A design degree, work experience and continuing education courses are required to be a Professional member. For more information about this organization click www.asid.org.
